Travel Information

I am starting off this first blog with some information I know.

I wanted to first blog my information about my flights and my stay and stuff like that. I will be traveling with my friend Allison from Azusa Pacific. I will be leaving around 10:00 pm on February the 14th. I will at that point be on my way to Cairns, Australia located in Queensland to go to a program introduction where I will be able to experience the Great Barrier Reef and get to know other people going to my university coming from the United States. I will be there from the 15th to the 17th, then i will take another flight down to Sydney and then will be catching a ride to Newcastle a couple hours north of Sydney. I will be attending The University of Newcastle from March 3rd to June 26th. Afterwards I will be traveling around for another three weeks. During my time in Newcastle I plan on going to New Zealand for some time to visit my cousin David and His wife, and also to just see the country. On July 21st I will catch a flight from Sydney back to LAX. I will be arriving in the States on July 22nd some time.

Allison and I have found out where we are living. We have been placed in off campus housing in shared terraces (apartments). Our address is 77 Bruce St, Cooks Hill New South Wales 2300 Australia. At this time, the address is weird formatted so i dont know whether that is the exact format to send things to it. When I know for sure, i will let you all know. We will be sharing this terrace with two other girls from our Asutralearn program. i believe there are three rooms and either one or two bathrooms in this apartment. (doesnt really sound like an apartment so i guess i will see what it really is when i get there…. Allison and I plan on taking many pictures so I hope i will be good about putting them online for everyone to see…. I hope to blog again soon about any other info i know. Enjoy for now!
